Information we collect
Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address, authentication details needed to secure your sign-in, and account identifiers. If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides the basic account information needed to authenticate you. Payday Peace does not receive your Google password.
Information you enter. This may include current balance, payday dates and frequency, expenses, categories and due dates, safety buffers, debts, balances, minimum payments and interest rates, saved plans, Safe-to-Spend calculations, goals, alert and reminder choices, no-spend and under-budget check-ins, challenges, notes, and net-worth entries.
Basic technical information. The app and its service providers necessarily process information such as network requests, device or browser type, IP address, and security or error information to deliver, protect, and maintain the service. Payday Peace does not currently use advertising trackers or third-party behavioral analytics in the app.
How we use information
We use information only as needed to:
- create and secure your account;
- perform the calculations and show the plans, goals, insights, alerts, and progress you request;
- save information on your device and, when you sign in, sync it across your devices;
- respond to support, privacy, and deletion requests; and
- maintain security, reliability, and proper operation of Payday Peace.
We do not use your financial entries for advertising, sell them, make them public, or connect to your bank or credit account. Payday Peace does not perform credit monitoring.
Where information is stored
Payday Peace is local-first. Budgeting information is stored in your browser or app storage so core tools can continue to work on your device, including while offline.
When you sign in, the app stores a private, versioned copy of your Payday Peace data in Lovable Cloud so it can sync across the web, iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. On a new device with existing local and cloud data, the app asks whether to combine the device data with the account or use the cloud copy. Signing out clears financial data from that device; it does not by itself delete the account’s cloud copy.
Service providers
Payday Peace currently relies on these providers for the following limited purposes:
- Lovable and Lovable Cloud provide app hosting, account authentication, private data storage, and cross-device sync.
- Google processes authentication only when you choose “Continue with Google.” Google handles information under its own privacy terms.
- Your browser, device platform, internet provider, and app-store platform may process technical information needed to download, connect to, and run the app under their own terms.
We do not disclose financial records to other users or the public. Information may be disclosed if required by law, to protect rights and security, or in connection with a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. Account sessions use secure authentication, data is transmitted over encrypted connections, and access rules limit each signed-in user to their own financial record. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure, so use a strong, unique password and protect access to your devices and email account.
Data retention
Local information remains on a device until you clear it, remove the app or browser storage, replace it through sync, or sign out. Account and cloud-synced information is generally retained while your account remains active and until deletion is requested, except where limited retention is reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or backup integrity. Backup copies may take additional time to expire.
Your choices and rights
You may review and change much of your information within Payday Peace. Saved plans can also be exported from the app. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy of personal information, and to appeal or complain to a privacy authority.
Deleting your account in the app. Signed-in users can permanently delete their Payday Peace account at any time from within the app, under My Plan or Settings → “Your account” → “Delete Account.” After you confirm, we delete your sign-in account and credentials and the cloud-synced data stored in your account (saved plans, goals, debts, payday settings, alerts, and progress). Payday Peace data on the device you use is cleared and you are signed out. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Limited information may be retained only where reasonably necessary for security or legal reasons, and backup copies may take additional time to expire. You do not need to contact us to delete your account.
For other privacy requests or help with deletion, email support@cccontentco.com from the email address associated with your account. We may need to verify account ownership. Do not include your password or financial details in the email.
Children’s privacy
Payday Peace is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can review and remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Payday Peace changes or legal requirements evolve. The new effective date will appear at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the app or another appropriate method when required.
